    The Latest and Greatest!

Features I love: 1. it’s a step-through frame that serves me well as a man with a susceptible back. 2. The battery has great storage, a turn off switch and a built in rear tail light. It comes on with the headlight. 3. It has cruise control, a great feature. 4. Fenders. 5. Comfortable handlebars and a large soft seat. Love the bike!

easy to maintain and care for

After about a month of use, i am quite satisfied with my purchase of this bike. i have been really happy with how easy it is to maintain. its a little heavy for carrying up 3 flights of stairs at my apartment, but ive been able to make it work. Its been plenty comfortable to ride. the motor supports a solid cruising speed, making longer trips muuuch easier than my old regular bike (expectedly so, but figured id mention it since thats kind of the point of an ebike, and this one certainly does the trick and isnt 1k+ to buy, so thats super nice)

    ISSUES WITH ACHEER

The issue I had and still have with this bike is the battery holder/rear carrier. Simply said, the battery would not fit/slide into the carrier enough to be able to lock it in place with the key. After numerous pictures, videos and text messages the problem still is not fixed. Amazon stepped in and the only resolve was to return the bike. Please take into consideration that I had already assembled the bike and had test drove it before realizing that the battery was not locked into the carrier. Returning was not an option. ACHEER offered me $30 to take care of my inconvenience. The bike is for my wife and even after all the nonsense I went through to get some help I did buy another bike from ACHEER, different model. My experience with Customer Service was the BIG issue and to this date has not resolved the problem at hand.

    First thoughts, impressions and findings.

Okay, let me start by saying this is a long and comprehensive review which covers ordering, shipping, unpacking, using the manual, assembly, charging the battery and enjoying the ride. My situation has been totally positive but, take it with a grain of salt as I have, perhaps, a bit more experience where building bikes is concerned. This is, however, my first ebike buy, assembly and ride.Ordering was simple like most orders on Amazon are. The price of the bike is extremely reasonable as you will discover when yours arrives. There is a relatively high shipping charge but the speed and care exhibited by FedEx helps soften the blow. I ordered this bike for my wife on March 5th and it arrived from the seller on March 8th. That’s pretty quick in my estimation. The packing box was very heavy duty, in perfect condition and showed no rough handling during shipping or delivery. Thanks FedEx!Upon opening the box I was greeted with the most comprehensively perfect packing job I have ever experienced. There was a place for everything and everything was in its place. All painted parts are protected by carefully placed closed cell foam wrap while others are protected by bubble wrap or enclosed in boxes. The care and concern with protecting the bike was obvious. One suggestion for the manufacture…place the owners manual in the top of the box where it can be easily found and referenced by the purchaser. It did eventually appear in a box at the bottom of the shipping container and it is fairly well written and comprehensive…cudos for that.Removing everything is like reverse engineering a puzzle, take your time and you’ll be fine. I suggest you have a nice wide open space to place everything as you begin assembly. Following the manual is mandatory and will take you step by step from unpacking through to a completed ride. Use caution to protect the painted surfaces of the bike during construction. The charger and battery come in very protected closed cell foam packaging and are, in essence, “plug and play”. Turn the battery over and make sure the red toggle switch on the bottom is set to its negative (-) position. Insert the charger plug into the battery, connect the battery cord to charger and plug the charger into the wall. The charger will show a small red light which will become green when charging is complete. Let the battery charge completely (4-6 hours) before you use it! FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS CONCERNING THE CHARGING, STORAGE AND USAGE OF THE BATTERY!!!The actual assembly process involves installing the pre-assembled front fork, the handlebars and seat (both of which are multi adjustable for comfort), the front wheel, front and rear fenders, the luggage rack/battery holder, front light/horn, pedals and kickstand. You will notice the quality of the paint, the beautiful welds and fitment of the aluminum alloy frame as well as the quality components. All the electrical cables are overwraped and pre-installed (with the exception of the horn/light assembly which simply needs placement). This thing isn’t a pain to assemble…it becomes a labor of love. Everything fits perfectly and all screws are Allen head and loctite ready, a nice extra touch for added safety. There is a provided rudimentary toolkit and pouch and you can complete the full build using said tools but you might supplement your own screwdrivers rather than using the provided “emergency” one. When all is said and done and you have finished assembly, be sure to go around the bike checking each fastener for correct tightness. Now, step back and admire your beautiful bike in all its glory! Bet you can’t wait to ride it!!! Let’s get going!Read the manual to discover important and helpful information concerning the LED display panel. You absolutely need to understand this panel and its myriad settings to safely operate this bike on your first few rides. An important example: when turned on, the bike defaults to assistance level (mode) #1 which I believe is potentially hazardous to a first time rider. When used, the mode settings numbered 1-5 cause an immediate reaction by the bike when you begin to pedal. Remember, this is an electric bike and there is no lag time between “accuation and action” so if you start out as most people do, one foot on the ground and the other on the pedal, as soon as you begin peddling and ready or not…the bike will lurch forward potentially tossing you off. Speaking of that…you ARE correctly wearing a HELMET, appropriate clothing and actual shoes right??? Good! You don’t want to end up trading a joy ride on two wheels for a lifetime riding on four. Think about it. I believe for safety, BEFORE you attempt your first and or subsequent rides, you should set the mode control to “0” by pressing the negative button. The bike is now in the throttle position which means any movement it makes, unassisted or throttle assisted is controlled specifically by YOU. To begin your ride place your right hand to the outside of the right grip so there is no connection between your hand on the handlebar and the throttle. Begin your ride by peddling (just like on a normal bike) and when you are comfortable and when it is safe, SLOWLY and CAUTIOUSLY begin to rotate the throttle backward (toward you) until you feel the motor catching up with your current speed and lightly taking over. At this time you may continue to pedal or stop peddling and the bike will maintain this speed. Lightly twisting back on the throttle will increase speed while twisting forward or “rolling off” will slow you down. A simple light application of the front brakes will also act as a throttle disconnect. Maintaining the current safe speed you are using for 8 seconds will automatically set “cruise control” which can easily be overridden by moving the throttle or lightly applying the front brake. This bike is relatively fast and powerful so take your time getting used to its capabilities and mannerisms. The bike has 7 manually operated gears allowing you to change to lower or higher gearing as the terrain dictates. The Shimano derailleur and gearset is both fast and accurate as you use the button or lever (located on right handgrip) to switch gears. Using these manually selected gears will greatly assist you while operating in a traditional (non-powered) manner.Moving on to the power assist mode… “assist” will get more powerful as you move through (mode) numbers 1-5. These settings are, in my opinion, best used while the bike is in motion. Example: little hill=little number, bigger hill=bigger number if you need assistance. Don’t want to pedal up a hill at all? Throttle your way up and over. This bike is very versatile, it can be used fully manually like a regular bike (though it’s somewhat cumbersome due to its extra weight), partly assisted or fully assisted. It’s your choice. Using your assist mode frugally and only when needed will improve your “charge to mile” ratio considerably. Zipping around using power on flat and downhill terrain unnecessarily might just leave you “high and dry” when “assist” becomes necessary for that last series of hills.Braking is fast and accurate on this bike what with disks front and rear. Mine required only slight adjustments both front and rear and how to adjust is covered in the manual or, if necessary, check out YouTube videos. I always ride with my index and middle fingers on the front brake lever and my ring and pinky on the handlebar grip. This provides instant access to the most capable brake in the event of an emergency. Since most of your stopping power is in your front brakes get used to using them. Feel them out, break them in and set them correctly (about a 3/4 – 1 inch pull for best accuation). Always ride in a relaxed manner but in an emergency push your bottom toward the back of the bike as you aggressively brake with both your front and rear brakes. Try not to fixate on the object you are trying to avoid so you can scan for a way to miss it. Your brakes are your friends, take time to get to know them. There is an actual horn which is better served for use in alerting pedestrians to your presence but it might get another drivers attention… Lights front and rear help with safety if you are out after dark.In all honesty, and as of this very short window of usage I really cannot find much if anything to gripe about.Okay, there could and should be a brake light for safety day and night but there isn’t. Secondly, my wife tends to point her toes slightly out when riding and that sometimes causes inadvertent contact with the kickstand and her heel. A different placement of the kickstand under the bottom bracket might be explored by the manufacture but other than those two slight issues, I really have no other complaints.Over the past few days my wife has learned to operate her bike safely and she hasn’t stopped smiling while riding it. To date she has ridden 25 miles on the first battery charge and still has half a charge left. I think 40+ miles on a single charge is probable, especially since these batteries tend to improve a bit after the first few uses.Well, that about covers it…I hope you found this review helpful in your decision making concerning purchase of this bike. I also hope it helps make your initial experiences with this bike safe and fun.As of this moment I would suggest that you can’t really go wrong with this choice of e-bike. It is well made and uses quality components. It’s also beautifully crafted and it goes and stops impressively. As always with my reviews, if things suddenly go wrong with the bike, you’ll be the first to know as I will post an update here immediately. By the way…my wife says “she absolutely loves it”…nuff said!

    Bike Designers Nailed It

I have ridden this bike almost daily for a month. We live in a hilly area and I was no longer willing to pull the hills. My bike was left in the garage. It was time to get some electric assist. Reports said this bike would do that, and it has. It was easy to assemble and operation was pretty easy to understand. Now I ride daily to work and errands. Its simple to ride without assist but when I have to ride home up the big hills I turn on the electric assist and this bicycle gets me there, easy peezie. Each time I park it I notice the strong kickstand and Im grateful. With a battery on board, this is a heavy bicycle, but the designers took that into consideration with a beefed up kickstand. I still can’t believe this incredible bicycle was one of the less expensive EV bikes. What a gem.

    Great Bike

We bought 2 bikes from this company. I do love them. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because the instructions to put them together was a challenge. Basically telling you the order as to what gets attached next, not how to attach. So, it was trial and error. After the first one was together, it was easier to put together the other one.I do want to give the company a big shout out for responding to my messages and helping me with the delivery. It looked like one of the bikes got lost, but the company did a search and gave me confirmation that it was still on its way. I had to ask them some questions and they always were very helpful and quick in responding.Back to the bike’s. They are very well made with no cheap parts. Very sturdy when riding them and a pleasure to use. These are our first e-bikes so we are still figuring them out, but so far so good. I would highly recommend this e-bike especially as starter bikes.

    This is a fun bike

We have only had it for a few days, but we love it. We will likely get a second one. When we went out yesterday, my son tried the bike and I rode one of my old bikes with no power. When I would get tired of pedaling my own bike, he pulled me with a rope. This was on the second lowest power level, and dragging along a second bike up hill with someone over 200 lbs was no problem. Plenty of power.

    Nice bike, Assembly is required!

This is a good bike for the money! Not the best bike, not even a great bike, but a solid value and I am pleased with the product!Assembly is required. The instructions are adequate but they do not teach the “build a bike” skill. If you don’t have the “build a bike” skill be prepared for a mini project that might be fun or have someone lined up who truly knows how. Improper assembly and adjustment could result in a bike that’s scratched up, doesen’t work properly, is uncomfortable, or might even be dangerous to ride. This bike is a dream to ride! You pedal and it goes! The front shocks seem soft and bouncy, likely due to the balance of this bike. It comes with good tires. and handles well. Construction is sturdy and the parts fit togeather well. The three button controls are simple if not completly intuitive to operate and you also get a button for the lights and a button for the horn. There’s a set of 2 keys 1 is needed for locking the removable battery in place. My preferred mode is mode 2, in 7th gear, doing 13mph. This is light-moderate exercise, which is exactly what I wanted. No more pacing yourself for the next uphill climb. Braking is adequate but not stellar. The seat is comfortable. I feel safe on this bike and enjoy riding it! I’m glad I looked for a step-thru frame design. The negatives are few. First, the powder coating is fragile, be careful not to nick or bump it during assembly and be careful fitting parts. Second, don’t misplace a single washer. Theres no extra hardware, none. Third, I’ve never been a fan of the quick release front wheel in general, it seems like it frequently needs adjustment, and because theres a disc brake involved, poor fitment could easily result in a bent rotor! My first mod may be to eliminate the quick release. Finally, I wish the gearing went a bit higher. Its just a standard bicycle 7 speed. If I ever upgrade or replace this bike I will look only for 21-speed or more models.Overall, no regrets!

Please don’t fall for the reviews and buy this product

The COMPANY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUD EVEN THO ITS A PROKEN PRODUCT. When it came the left pedal came broken. We tried putting it in still and it didn’t comepletly go in but it wouldn’t go back out either so we thought it just stuck there but no my friend tried riding it the pedal FELL OUT she tried putting it back in my dad also helped didn’t work. And the tire was wobbly when turning and when breaking it made a huge noise. I reached out to them and asked I want a refund for those reason they told me to try to this and that and I told them I already did and they replied could ur friends help it and blah blah. I AM NOT GONNA RIDE A BIKE THAT WILL HARM MY SAFETY AND CAME BROKEN when I paid almost 600 dollars. So please don’t buy it because even tho somethings wrong with it they won’t give u a refund.

    Teresa’s ebike

I love the cruise control feature. Really enjoy the speed and the battery life. The battery holding fixture is real good. Really liked the ease of assembly. Did not like the broken wheel reflector upon unboxing. Also do not like having throttle only mode in mode 0. Also do not like that the bike is so tall. Having at least 2 or 3 sizes available would be nice. The inner tubes are also too thin to handle the extra weight. Had one go flat the first time we rode it. Also, the front sprocket is made too thin. It bent just from being strapped onto the carrier. I was able to bend it back by hand.

Very good price for a decent price

PROS:- Very well packaged. No damage. Tools nicely packed in storage case.- Once assembled it’s beautiful and sturdy.- Lots of safety items included: bell, horn, many reflectors, backlight that flickers while engaging brake, front light. I’ve read in reviews the front light wasn’t bright but I think it’s pretty good.- Assembly is not too difficult as long as you take your time. Instructions could be better so best to find a video on YouTube to follow along. It took me 4 hours.- All the wires are tucked away neatly in sturdy wrap- Smooth transition between gears and paddle assist. Paddle assist has many options for the desired speed.- A lot of fun to ride especially on the throttle- Responsive customer service.Cons:- This isn’t really a con but I should mention the bike is heavy. But pretty much all e-bikes are.- Front tire feels small.- Battery doesn’t seem to last too long but that probably depends on how much of the throttle feature you use- Saddle is pretty hard which is extra noticeable without back shock absorbers. There are shock absorbers in the front. Conclusion: This is a good bike for the money.TIP: Don’t be like me and triple-check that all the bolts are tightened. Bring along the tools when you go on your first ride. I got stranded after my steering wheel loosened up and no way of tightening it. Had to call for a pick up.

    Seems decent for the price.

Just got mine yesterday. I’ve been walking 6 miles to work. Got it on the due date. Got it assembled in 2+ hours. I was half asleep but mostly did things correct. Just need to tighten the handlebars. Pedal assist worked even on even the battery charge that was sent with it. Yes, I was so tired I forgot to charge it. it seemed to work great. Only did 2/5 power level, mostly. The only concern or question I have is the throttle on it. Is there an input I need to hit to engage it? I need to double-check the manual as I was tired last night. Lol. But it does NOT seem to do anything when twisted. The pedal assist worked fine. But ya, no throttle. I’ll try and stay posted on this.Edit update: odometer at 69 miles. And everything seems fine. I figured out the throttle is when the screen is set to 0. AND interesting news. I found out that unlike the last bike I had, this one doesn’t lose a great deal of power until it is almost dead. I can still hit 20 mph pretty much anytime. I live in an area full of hills. So I have to help, of course. But on flats it has always gone to 19 or 20 mph. Impressive bike so far. I think they hid the controller where the battery connects, too. I was looking to try and help protect it and couldn’t find the traditional box. Good on you. So far, I love the ride!Edit update: 280+ miles. After using this bike for a little over a month now. There has only been one REAL issue, and it only developed this last week. So, last week, I had to do a quick emergency hard brake because someone almost pulled out in front of me. And for some reason, that put a “wobble” in the front wheel.I tried putting the wheel back on & retighten to bolt. Did nothing. I looked to see if it was a warp. I don’t see any. But you can CERTAINLY feel it wobble as you ride. You can see a slight shake in the handles and wheel too you drive. I put a 30-second video up of the wobble so you can see it.Besides that! This bike has been working in fantastic fashionEDIT update: 302 milesRear wheel has a broken spoke. I woke up to go to work. And the bike felt like maybe the rear tire was a little low on air. Felt a little squishy initially. But halfway to work it starts wobbling bad after I stopped at a red light. So now I need to contact the protection plan people.

    Very good purchase

This bike it’s worth the money. Was very easy to set . The battery lasts pretty long. Sometimes I use the pedals for fun, it for the most part I don’t and it lasts me for about 5 days to go and come from work. It’s about 3 miles each way. I recommended it.

    Great Bike Great Price

Positives : east to put together, very sturdy , looks great, it has 5 setting including the 0 setting which lets you operate with just the twist throttle , no pedaling . Speed is fast. Battery last long time.Negative : it’s a 26” bike and and it heavy, can be hard for a shorter female to handle. My 5’6” wife cannot put both feet flat on the ground with the seat all the way down . I’m 6’ and it’s perfect size for me

Super affordable and so far so good

My husband and I both purchased this bike recently on the recommendation of a friend who purchased this bike last year. We have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and functionality of the bikes. A really good value for anyone not looking to spend upward of $1000 to join the e-bike revolution. Our Ancheer bikes have greatly extended the distance we can comfortably ride.

It is an excellent electric bike, what I like the most is the battery life, I can travel quite a few miles and without much effort thanks to the 3 modes it has, electric, assisted and manual my favorite was the assisted one since I could pedal but I had electric assistance when I was tired or on the climbs, it is an excellent electric bike.

I love my new bike. It has a lot of power. I have only gotten up to level 3 once and that was on a long straightaway. I like the option for pedal start or throttle start. Comfy seat, sturdy structure and my white paint has a pearly tint which I love.

    Customer Service is Outstanding

Can not tell you about battery life as we just received these bikes – one for me and one for my husband. Quality of bike is excellent. I am impressed with their Customer Service Dept. as mine came with a cracked meter because of packaging issue but my husband’s was fine as his was packaged a lot better. I had a new meter for my bike within a week which was very impressive and my husband installed it as we thought it would be hard to install but it wasn’t. Bicycle seats are never comfortable and I have an issue with my tail bone so ordered a wider seat for mine and my husband got a gel seat cover for his. Plus we are not young chicks anymore and bought these bicycles for exercising upon our doctor’s recommendation.

    I love my new bike

This bike is worth the shipping. The shipping was $170.00 but the bike is affordable and it’s great for exercising and I road the bike 26 miles and I still had power to go another 15 miles. So enjoyable and it’s a good experience

    Packing and assembling

I just received this E bike. Purchased as a Christmas gift. Shipping time was on time. The bike is really packaged very well with all sharp points protected with styrofoam. The seat could have been wrapped better. It only come in plastic surrounded by cardboard. Not completely surrounded as mine came with a slight tear in the front of the seat. One of the time reflectors was broke in half. I have not yet notified the shipper with these issues yet (we’ll see). Overall the bike was prettier easy to assemble. I followed the You Tube video. Only real issue I had was one of the torque bolts came cross threaded in the hole. Other than that everything seemed to line up and go tight good. Rear fender seem a little twisted but I think it was how it was packed and it was cold. I’ll see if it takes shape after being on for awhile. I haven’t tested it on road yet. Will follow up with that.

    Nice Value and Solid Bike

The bike was fairly easy to put together. The box was slightly damaged causing a front reflector to be broke and the brake rotor slightly damaged despite the good packing. Was unable to center the front brake pads due to the slight wobble of the rotor. Took video and after a few tries with customer service, they are sending a new rotor and reflector. Have not received it yet but it is the holidays. We discovered this bike while looking through Consumer Reports which gave it a good rating. Overall, I am impressed with the bike and equally impressed with the value. Can’t speak to the longevity of the battery yet.Update: Received the new rotor as promised and replaced the original and now runs true.

Good value and quality, especially for this price.

I liked the headlight and taillight being included in the electrical system. The throttle is handy. The only problem I had was to get the bike to turn on initially, Ancheer’s support helped me figure out to disconnect the charger first. Fenders are nice, especially if you don’t like mud slinging up on to you. The derailleur shipping guard also helps to protect the wires going into the motor, so I left it on. Then there is the shipping, everything was well protected, awesome job.

    Great bike!!!

This is a nice lady’s bike!!! A little on the heavy side!!!But, it has a longer wheelbase than the mountain bike!!!It also has the beach cruise type handlebars making it easy to balance and steer!!!The bike rack over the rear fender makes going to the shower house at the campground a lot easier!!!Battery life and mileage have never been a problem!!! I’ve put at least 30 miles per trip, using both pedal assist and full electric, and used less than half the battery!!!Assembly was a breeze until you get to the rear bike rack!!! Do not follow the instructions when putting the rear rack together!!! Put the two pieces together before putting it on!!!

    Kinda heavy

Bought this for myself. I’m 62 and ride in my village when the weather allows. The step though makes it very easy for me to get on and off. Max speed is 21mph, which is fine.the battery is very good, I travel an average of 8 miles on hills and I do fine.I did look at a few 1000 watt but this 500 does fine for me. Took about 2 hours to get together and ten overnight to fully charge. The bike weighs 61 lbs, so I found running on zero battery a bit of effort. Runs smooth, the seat is comfy and I am pleased to have bought this.

    Battery life not what expected

My husband has the same bike but in black and the battery life is better than mine. Yesterday we completed a ride on flat land in Florida of 35 miles and he had only used half of his battery. I only had one bar left on my battery. He likes to use the cruise control feature and I prefer to use peddle assist. We have around 150 miles on both bikes. The bikes features are easy to figure out. I love using the bike on our paved trails for longer rides. I would recommend this bike if you are trying to determine if you want an battery powered bike.

Awesome bike but Horrible assembly instructions

The bike is fantastic. Looks great and rides great. Unfortunately the assembly instructions are just horrific. Takes hours to unbox and put together. Would be 5 stars if the instructions were better.

Good bike for the price but has a few bad points.

Bought this for the wife and was thinking about one for myself. Over all build quality is very good. Easy to assemble just had to move the rack back to lower seat for short wife. Distance on charge seems to be good but I will update later on. Biggest complaint so far and it is pretty big is the brakes are a total JOKE! I can drag my feet and stop faster than front and rear combined. Almost to the unsafe point to ride.

    Worth the effort

The bike was difficult to assemble, even with the instructions. It took three mechanically minded people to assemble mine. It arrived with a broken reflector, but not a big deal. Once up and running, I have to say it is a lot of fun to ride. The battery keeps its charge for many miles and the assist I receive climbing hills is amazing.

    I love this e-bike

It’s a lot of fun to ride. It is heavier bike so be careful turning, but you’ll get used to it. I can finally keep up with my husband which normally travels between 16 and 18 miles an hour.

    Happy EV Rider

1st my hubby bought an Ancheer trail bike more so to pull our Golden Retriever & are happy his bike is living up to our expectations.2nd I needed a step through & find this bike fits the bill. Seat & handlebars positions are very comfortable. Easy quick release mechanisms are useful. Handy little toolkit included. Bike frame is nice looking as well as heavy duty. Being a step through Ancheer has gone with a robust construction but still not to heavy to lift onto our bike rake. Display gauge is easy to read & use. Gear change is smooth. I like everything about my bike except the initial “push” up to speed. Gear 1 max 11 MPH & the bike will kinda jump to speed. I figured out that starting in Gear 0 until I get to comfortable speed I don’t have that ‘push from behind’ feeling. Oh & figured out turning in a wide circle to keep the peddles moving. Otherwise gravity takes hold.Pricing is very reasonable, battery charges quickly & last accordingly.Customer service is good although when we initially called getting the message “no mailbox has been setup” was a bit weird. The message could be changed to include “Ancheer representative will call you within 24 hours” which we did. We have had both conversations & email communication with good results.Recommend Ancheer EV bikes.

Worth paying the cost of shipping.

100% satisfied with my purchase. Customer service was quick to respond with solutions and answers to a couple of my questions. Solidly built and comfortable to ride. Am constantly receiving complements about appearance and asking where I got it. I like that the battery is behind me rather than under me and that both tires are the same size, giving the appearance of a regular bike. Also did not regret having to pay for shipping because price of bike was so reasonable. Overall, highly recommend.

    Great bike for the money

I purchased two other ebikes for my wife, and this was the one. She wanted a bike for women with the step-through frame that is easier to get on and off. Also, she wanted a cruiser bike for paved and mild gravel roads, like walking trails. Finally, she wanted something that is easy to shift. The other two bikes had 21 gears, and honestly with a cruiser ebike that is overkill. She is loving the simplicity of one gear shift, easy on and off, comfortable seat and plenty of power. Her only issue is that the peddle assist is a little abrupt on the lowest setting, but this is not a deal breaker. I sent this feedback to the seller, hopefully they will dial it back a bit in the future. I still gave it 5 stars because overall this is a great bike for the money, my wife likes the bike and we are enjoying lots of rides together now.

    Exactly what we wanted

Prompt delivery of product as ordered. Nice acceleration in all multipliers and with throttle although throttle only in 0 setting, and multiplier starts only after first revolution of pedals, unlike Araimo brand. However this is safer- I don’t need to worry about insane speeds if I need to pedal in a sharp curve and need to dial down at stop signs or curves to avoid lunging into traffic or an obstacle.
